Question

Seeking to know Christ after the flesh (II Cor 5:16: Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more), the eyes of many Christians are fixed on old Jerusalem (Gal 4:25-26: For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all) in the expectation that Jesus will seat himself in a temple there (Acts 7:48: Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands) where all the nations will gather to worship him (John 4:21 & 23: Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father…but the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.)

My question is this: is it any wonder that the world is in such darkness?
